• The name's Suriya Arumugavelan, "Aru Mugam" in Tamil stands for six faces and is one of the many names of the Hindu god Murugan. Hence "Sixface" - a nickname that stuck

• I'm from Chennai, Tamil Nadu - a beautiful sea-side capital I dream of flying back to ever so often. There's nothing quite like a nice crispy dosa or an evening at Marina - Chancey Illa!

• Having lived the first 12 years in Indonesia, and then the rest in India - I know 4-ish languages. Tamil and English being my stronger suits, followed by Hindi and Bahasa

• Growing up, I've had more pets than I can count. I'm no "Tiger King", but I have been called Squirrel-father...

• I have a Bachelor's from NIT Trichy and a Master's from Columbia University - can confirm that nostalgia is real

Do you remember walking into a toy store as a kid and feeling excited yet overwhelmed at the same time? That’s me, in most stores. I simply love the consumer experiences on offer - their products!

I’ve worked in ~7 different industries over the last 5 years through various interns, projects, and competitions. I’ve learned the nuances of product management from the ideation to distribution stage, as well as the fundamentals of market segmentation and global penetration strategies. At present, my interests are inclined towards product management in the field of consumer goods and technology. In the long term, I hope to start a venture of my own, with a focus on creating innovative consumer experiences.

As far as leadership ideologies go, my views are best described by the following quote from one of my all-time favorite books,
